Bamboo Removal Project – Boundary Encroachment

A recent client contacted us regarding an ongoing issue with bamboo that had been planted along the rear boundary of their garden several years ago. While the plants had initially flourished, they had begun to spread aggressively beyond the intended area.

The situation became particularly problematic when the neighbours—who had recently laid new turf—noticed their grass deteriorating rapidly. On investigation, bamboo shoots were found pushing through the lawn, invading from the original garden.

We were brought in to remove the bamboo, which had not only outgrown its space but was now spreading into two neighbouring properties. To access the extensive root system, we carefully dismantled fencing panels and excavated the affected zones.

Although bamboo is popular for its fast growth and screening potential, it can be extremely invasive if not properly contained. Our team worked efficiently to remove the plants and rhizomes, restoring clear boundaries between the properties. The job was completed with minimal disruption and to the full satisfaction of all parties involved.
